A daily painting and a Happy Valentines Day greeting too. Done this morning at my friend Joan's studio as a morning exercise. Tulips have such personality...and these moved to greet the light as I was painting them. ...Used a 6"x8" canvas panel and a bit of my spike oil/damar varnish/linseed oil medium. Its so great to start off the day with a small piece. Now if the sun will hold I'll go set up to paint more of my backyard crocus [ if they survived the snow and ice of the last few days]. It's a flowery sort of a day.
