Only for the day

 From my front porch... painted over a rubbed out woodland scene of dappled light which worked well as a mid toned base for these day lilies that popped into the light the other morning.
These fleeting beauties  IMPORTANT in their sunlit colors   are a front and center focus.

I am taking the elements that I am most captivated by and painting  them... PAINTING them... painting THEM ?
Yup, I'm having DESERT FIRST at this meal
