I showed up late and only had an hour to catch this model

Charcoal and highlight white on canson paper @ 18" x 24"

It took me two tries to get his "presence". He sort of goes off the page!

Hope I have a chance to do a painting sketch later.

Ummm... maybe not

I'll be missing the rest of his poses [in the "portrait co-op" the models sit for four or five friday mornings in a row to allow us to work up a single in depth portrait or series of sketches]

But Im leaving for Philadelphia soon

I am really looking forward to my "Studio Incammiati" two week intensive workshop!!!
